Angela Jones graduated from Durham University with an Honours degree in English, French and Politics. She trained as a journalist and worked in newspapers and radio for eight years before becoming a freelance copywriter and PR consultant in 1985.

Angela's career has included several years as the editor of a thriving business magazine, and extensive work as a freelance copywriter for advertising and design agencies.

She has managed the PR campaigns of numerous technology exhibitions and conferences held in France, Germany and the UK, and has provided many small and medium sized companies with a freelance copywriting and PR service.

Angela has produced corporate communications for several PLCs, ranging from staff magazines and e-newsletters, to websites and conference materials. Her work has supported major change programmes, such as the restructuring of a 9,000-strong sales force, the launch of a global business strategy and the rebranding of an established construction company.

Her clients have included BP, the Learning and Skills Council, Beard building contractors, the Low Carbon Cities Initiative and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.
